Astronomy and Cosmology at Durham University – Dr Chichuan Jin

Former Durham PhD student Chichuan Jin talks about his time at the University and his research work. Jin, who is now a researcher in the National Astronomical Observatories of China, Chinese Academy of Sciences, is a core member of the Einstein Probe mission which will look for black holes hidden in the centre of galaxies.

Chichuan Jin

After studying for a PHD at Durham I am now an independent scientist, participating in a very exciting astronomical X-ray satellite project, which involves lots of collaborations between China and Europe.
