24 hours of fundraising football!

This year, for the 5th year running, the men and women of Collingwood College AFC are back at it, another 24 hours of football to be played in support of Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre (RSACC) for Darlington and Country Durham. We want to raise as much money as we can and we need YOUR support.

This Friday, June 11th (midday) until Saturday, June 12th (midday)

The Collingwood Crumb, overlooking the Stag’s Head (cakes and refreshments for supporters will be provided)

The event is to raise funds for the Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre (RSACC) Darlington and Country Durham

scenes from the last match

The RSACC does fantastic work supporting survivors of sexual abuse through expert counselling and other services, but with an ever increasing waiting list for treatment and support of up to 9 months, and funding cut because of the pandemic, it’s vital that we raise as much money for survivors to get support for their trauma and to hopefully lead healthier lives.

It’s set to be an absolute classic, with the whole college and wider community involved. You can also expect spectacular commentary running from the side-lines, DJ sets throughout, a cheerleading performance and an extended college bar with extra tables down by the action.

Any donation, in pursuit of our fundraising target of £4000, would be much appreciated.
