Open funding call for Covid-19 projects

Open PoC or BIV call (no closing date): Members of our community are developing therapeutics and/or tests for COVID-19. We will fast-track support for industrial biotechnology related to COVID-19 that is within our scope, for example using bio-metal-nanoparticles in diagnostics. Sustainable processes to support future preparedness would also be in scope. Apply any time. Contact us ASAP at metals.bbsrcnibb@durham.ac.uk to express interest.

Both funding calls are open to E3B: Metals in Biology members who are eligible to receive BBSRC funding. The work must be relevant to remit of the Network including industrial biotechnology and bioenergy.

Proof of Concept funding: Funding of up to £25,000 is available per project.

  3. Join the Network (if you are not already a member)
  4. Complete an application form
  5. Complete ethics form Annex B (if applicable)
  6. Submit application form, short cv and Annex B (if applicable) to: metals.bbsrcnibb@durham.ac.uk

Business Interaction Voucher funding Funding of up to £10,000 is available per project.

If you want to apply for a Business Interaction Voucher (up to £10K) follow the application process below:

  1. Read the call guidelines

  4. Complete an application form
